The Korean War: Voices from the 38th Parallel

Delta College Public Media has been honoring area veterans since 2005 through locally produced documentaries and special veterans programs. To celebrate America's 250th birthday, we will proudly honor military service members with special broadcasts on Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11. This includes a special showing of our 2012 local documentary, The Korean War: Voices from the 38th Parallelat 8 pm.

Military Honor Roll

As part of this special event, we're inviting you to honor your military family and friends by including their names and optional photos as part of our Veterans Day TV and radio broadcasts. This honor roll will also be posted on our YouTube page and here on this page.

Special Broadcast - The Korean War: Voices from the 38th Parallel (2012)

They call it "The Forgotten War," but those who served will never forget their experiences. This documentary features 23 Michigan residents whose lives were touched by the Korean War telling their stories in their own words. They talk about the Pusan Perimeter, Inchon Landing, the Chosin Reservoir, and Hearbreak Ridge, along with their reflections on the war, over 60 years later.
